A drop. The idea that took shape while painting this picture. Simply a drop. Spreading the colors I imagined a bubble that contained them and then made them fall. And as I went on, the colors merged together and fell together. That’s how my drop was born, from a bubble that contained all the colors and then, falling on the canvas, they separated again while remaining one. A drop of rain that steals the colors of the sky and returns them to the canvas. It’s a little magic, a game, the entire universe that is inside a drop. And painting can invent it, as if it were a piece of rainbow that lies on the canvas.
