A leaf. Simply a leaf. Still attached to the branch of the tree? Fallen? Or perhaps picked up by someone and kept on a piece of furniture, among the books? Perhaps the most beautiful thing about minimalism is to imagine a story, something previous, about the painted object. So a leaf also becomes the symbol of a nature that is rebelling against man and that we have the duty to preserve from climate change.
