Back from Trieste, where I participated in the ART EXPO, “abstract landscape” was born – a work certainly imbued with the karst landscapes, and also from the beautiful recent comparison with other international artists. In this work of mine I use oil and oil pastels to explore emotional transformation through color and form. By performing spontaneous gestures and stratifications of pigment, I evoke deep and vibrant emotional landscapes. Bright yellows and exuberant greens emerge from a nebulous background, while blue and black burst in like sudden storms – symbols of the unpredictable changes in life. This painting brings into a home an energy that invites introspection and personal revelation.
